Leadership team
Mark joined BAY Shipping in 1996, and his vast experience has been instrumental in the growth and continued success of the company. Beginning his career in shipping as an Agency Clerk, Mark held various senior roles before becoming Director and gained valuable hands-on experience in the intricacies of both port agency and chartering services. Mark is passionate about the company’s history and values and places great emphasis on customer service and going the extra mile for our customers.
A qualified accountant and Chartered Shipbroker, Kevin joined BAY Shipping in 2010 to oversee our finance function. Kevin has over 20 years’ experience in finance and accounting and 7 years’ experience in the shipping industry. Kevin is committed to continual improvement and is always looking for new ways to streamline company processes and enhance the service provided to our customers. Kevin is a member of the Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers and a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants.
Peter joined Bay Shipping, Cardiff in September 2018 as Agency Manager, bringing with him 30 years Shipping Agency operational and commercial experience in UK, Europe and Middle East.
Peter believes in a dedicated and enthusiastic agency team focussing on Service Delivery and Customer Satisfaction producing great results and ultimately growth.

Chris was identified as the stand out candidate for development as Shipping Agent / broker within the Bay Shipping team, joining us in August 2018. With a strong customer service background and excellent interpersonal skills, combined with other transferrable talents such as organisation and flexibility he is a perfect fit for the unique demands of the Shipping Sector.
Chris is looking to the future with Bay Shipping and the John Good Group and will be utilising all available support to develop his career.

Rob joined the Bay Shipping team in November 2019 and has over 25 years port agency experience mainly working but not exclusively in Bristol and South Wales ports.
He is a member of The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and a member, and past-president of The Bristol Maritime Trade Association.
He also represents the BMTA on the Bristol Port Welfare Committee of the Merchant Navy Welfare Board.
Rob is a believer in high quality and hands-on agency operations. He can be relied upon to use his knowledge and vast contacts to ensure the smoothest possible port call for all parties.
